We cannot wait to welcome you to St. John's, but we know that visiting a new place for the first time can be nerve-wracking. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about visiting St. John's - Clonmel, but if your question isn't found here, you can contact us prior to your visit with any questions!
Absolutely! We'd love to have you come and worship with us. We'd encourage you to come to confession prior to your first time back in order to be forgiven of any sins and fully participate in Communion.
You may wear whatever you'd like! While many of our parishioners choose to dress up (business casual: slacks, skirts, or dresses) to honor God and the importance of attending worship, you are welcome to join us no matter what you are wearing.
As Catholics, we believe that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ; therefore, we ask that only practicing Catholics in a state of grace (without mortal sin on their souls) receive Communion. However, you are welcome to join in this time of prayer and praise with us by approaching the priest with your arms folded across your chest in an X for a blessing or remaining in your pew and singing along with the Communion hymn or joining in quiet prayer.
Yes! Please do! We are accustomed to the activity of young children in Mass and welcome their presence!
We have one handicap accessible restroom in the church gathering space. If you're having trouble finding it, just ask someone! We're all happy to help.
